If you think it is insulting when you are bullied in real life imagine how it feels when the video game is doing the bullying. Just because it is a digital world does not mean you are safe from the same consequences as the real world. Everything ranging from murder to just flat out bullying nothing escapes the judgement of the digital world. Which has a very interesting and in some ways entertaining way of telling you to stop being a jerk to the video game characters. Multiple channels list all sorts of these types of games that do not allow jerks on their servers without rightfully punishing them for it. These channels include
While there is some variety of games among the different lists as shown in the two videos posted above there are some constants that consistently appear no matter the list. Specifically the games Resident Evil Four and the game simply named Bully.

As far as Bully goes as shown in the picture above the concept is fairly straightforward. You are a bully in a high school which gives an original spin on the concept some students know far too well. The dreaded detention where you would have to essentially be Bart Simpson and fulfill tedious tasks to continue with the actual game. Showing that you maybe giving somebody a wedgie in real life or in a video game you will be thrown in the cells of detention before you can even blink.

Resident Evil Four the cost for being a jerk is a lot more brutal. Proving that no matter how you feel about the non playable characters you should not do anything to them because they are not afraid to push back and take you down. During the game you play as Leon Kennedy and at one point of the game you can interact with a character named Luis Sera. Who is basically an NPC companion who can help you with supplies and other things. However if you shoot Luis more than two times you get a special cutscene where he shoots the main character for shooting him. What goes around comes around and that is true everywhere in the real world and in the digital world. So it just goes to show you that you really should try to stay on your best behavior no matter what your doing because someone or something is gonna be ready to fight back. Weather it be made of flesh and blood or high resolution pixels one thing is for certain it is Game On!
This comic book fan had the right idea he wore the gold pants. The perfect attire to wear because Deadpool in my opinion is one of the best comic book superhero movies ever. Considering it is one of the highest grossing R rated movies ever this should not be a surprise. The wise cracking R rated humor, over the top action, and of course if you know anything about deadpool a wrecking ball to the fourth wall. The fourth wall being well in lack of a better word the metaphysical wall between us the viewers and the characters we are watching in this case Deadpool. That’s right he knows where he is and how long the movie is running and even the people who wait till the end credits roll to call them out on staying so long. Has your mind been blown yet? No? Good then let us get started.
To understand what is going on as Deadpool states in the movie he has to take us back before he squeezed into his red suit. Which is quite honestly how ninety percent of all comic book movies go. Action and then backstory and then back to the action. Although by no means does that mean this backstory was boring. Far from it as it shows how Wade Wilson also known as Deadpool was a mercenary even before he became Deadpool. Also even going as far as having a relationship develop over the course of the backstory. Although keeping accurate to his comic book origins he was stricken with cancer in more than one area as the movie implies. Well following the theme of many cases his skills were very useful and a secret government organization came to recruit him offering to cure his cancer. But of course as every movie with a secret government operation with some seriously shady individuals doing the legwork proves; this was an evil organization trying to turn Wade into a superhuman slave.

However, knowing that would not be any fun and after going through the experiment to gain superpowers he broke out but not before he got turned into Deadpool complete with a face shown in the image above that spins a bunch of r rated comedic responses between Deadpool and his friend Weasel. Where he gets his superhero name looking up at a scoreboard for mercenaries called “the deadpool”. Which is actually comic book accurate as in the comics the secret organization kept a Deadpool for the inmates to see how long they would last after the experiments. The result was the same as they both end with Wade Wilson escaping and becoming Deadpool. After returning from the evil labs he follows classic story tropes and searches for his girlfriend named Vanessa and also sets off on a mission to find the man who made him what he is known as Francis. Leading to the superhero montage searching for Francis who can fix his face. The hunt began and ended right back where we started with Deadpool right back where he started simply stating just like this wrap up “there all caught up”.

After that the movie is brought back to the hunt in present day with Deadpool dealing with the X-men and then asking for help saving his girl from Francis after trying to talk to her but failing to. Which leads to the final and most awesome part of any superhero movie the final showdown. Featuring Deadpool and the two X men actually brought up in the film; Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Shown in the image above Colossus being the metal man on Deapool’s left and Neagasonic being the girl on Deadpool’s right. Who goes after the henchmen of francis while Deadpool goes for the final boss. After a long battle as superhero movies go deadpool has him dead to rights and is ready to kill him. However, when Colossus comes over and tries to do the superhero speech Deadpool shows again how this is not a superhero movie as he shoots francis in the head. Finally getting his revenge and also gets the girl that is where the movie ends. As Deadpool is not a superhero in the regular sense he is an anti-hero meaning he will do the right but he has absolutely no problem killing people or asking for money doing whatever he does.
While this is in my opinion the best superhero adaptation in movies there was one factor about Deadpool that they didn’t show in the movie was that in the comics is that Deadpool is a schizophrenic he has two additional voices in his head one of logic and one of craziness. They do not show up in the movie which is pretty much the only aspect of him that is not present. Then again this movie was not operating on the biggest of budgets so they had to cut some corners somewhere. However, every other aspect of this movie was perfect and perfectly captured the feeling of what kind of character Deadpool is. That he cracks jokes, has no filter and needs to be portrayed in R rated movies, breaks the fourth wall, and is just genuinely crazy with a good heart.
Finally the best part has to be the all star cast they got for the movie consisting of Ryan Reynolds perfectly cast as Deadpool to the point that he is who they think of when somebody says Deadpool. Then there’s TJ Miller as Weasel, basically Deadpools best friend in the movie, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Deadpool’s love interest, and finally Ed Skrein as the main villain of the film Ajax or his real name Francis. The energy and chemistry was consistent throughout the entire movie. There was never a single dive in the strength of the acting performances in the movie. It is obvious from the first five minutes of the movie that the directors, cast, and crew gave nothing less than maximum effort.
The more you post the less you live. Following the formula of many other movies of it’s kind the movie titled The Social Network tells the origin of the social media icon known to everyone as Facebook. Although very informative the movie followed the tropes of other movies portraying something famous in today’s society. In the sense that the group comes together with an idea that could become something great and ground breaking. As the idea climbs and gains success the main mind behind it in this case Mark Zuckerberg slowly gained more domination over the company in a way betraying his best friend or ex best friend Eduardo Saverin as he is at the end of the movie suing Zuckerberg for all the money he has gotten from Facebook.
From the start of the movie while very generic in storytelling it puts its own unique spin by having Mark Zuckerberg portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg be introduced as a person who is very intelligent when it comes to computers coding and as the scene shows hacking. As it begins with Zuckerberg being dumped for being more intelligence driven and lacking ironically social skills. Not long after that the evil mastermind hatched a plan by hacking into the school servers to create a site similar to tinder but much more cruel to trash his ex-girlfriend socially.
picture from (https://ew.com/movies/social-network-movie-where-are-they-now/) While simultaneously drinking, blogging about her and the break up, and how he is hacking and creating the site. After being reprimanded for hacking into the accounts of all the female students at his college and creating a site to judge them based on their looks while drunk. He caught the attention of a pair of twins from Harvard known as the Winklevoss’s. They approached him with the idea for a Harvard social media site to connect everybody on campus. He accepted the offer to do it although not long after that meeting he had the idea but as many other people in that kinda situation wanted to think bigger than just Harvard.
Following the conception of the idea the business representative of the Facebook company Eduardo Saverin also Mark Zuckerberg’s best friend played by Andrew Garfield was fully brought in to basically be the company’s wallet. Which in the long run was a mistake on Saverin’s part because mixing friends with business is always a risky choice to make. As he will learn nearing the end of the film. However, at the moment the generic plot was in the calm and progressive period. The company was gaining ground and gaining fame faster and faster than anyone could have expected. Leading to some of the innovations known today such as relationship status and hiring interns so that there is more processing power and more brains behind the machine instead of just one programmer.
picture from (http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/Movies/09/30/social.network.review.roll/index.html) Which allowed the final stage to any great venture to finally begin. Expanding the name beyond the one college.
Then like all great enterprise there comes a point where friendships are tested and fame and fortune get voices of their own. Especially when they meet Sean Parker played by Justin Timberlake he begins to talk about himself and dangle the right carrots in front of Zuckerberg’s nose to begin to drive a wedge between him and Saverin. Beginning with giving the suggestion to shorten the name from The Facebook to Facebook. After that meeting Zuckerberg started to listen to reason less and less and started to listen to the money and the fame more and more. Even after Parker almost ruined the whole project with being caught doing cocaine. But was more focused on how Parker enabled Facebook to go global and allowed the communication functions can be put to their limits and beyond. Even going as far as to keep his best friend Eduardo out of the business discussions even though he is the business director of the company. Which climaxed when Sean and Zuckerberg wrote up new business papers for the financial shares of the company. This is where Eduardo made his mistake. He put blind trust in his friend Zuckerberg and did not think to read the papers he was signing thoroughly to make sure he wasn’t getting conned. Sure enough he was because the papers made him get less than zero percent of the companies financial revenue. Which he comments on in the film that he should have read them more closely and have a lawyer look at them so he actually knew what the papers had said. He fell to one of the risks of going into business with friends he believed his friend would not cheat him out of more money to fill up his own pockets. Which brought full circle to what has been going on as a side bird throughout the entire movie. Which is a trial of Saverin suing Zuckerberg for every penny that he has made from Facebook. Proving the ironic concept that in the process of making a successful social media platform meant to connect people across the world Zuckerberg shut out and betrayed everybody he had in his own social life.
As far as acting is concerned it was pretty standard throughout the course of the film. Nothing really to write home about as each fell into the stereotypes of what kinda movie they were making. Especially when it came to Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg playing the characters of Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin given the two actors have played a multitude of other characters it was surprising seeing how much they acted like the other characters they had portrayed. With Jesse Eisenberg he has played characters such as Daniel Atlas in the Now You See Me series and the iconic super villain Lex Luthor in the films Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice and Justice League. Through out the movie all the characteristics he brought to Lex Luthor were present heavily in this portrayl. The cold nature of Lex but also slightly the cocky nature of Daniel. Showing the specific type of character Eisenberg plays the intelectual who will rather do a million calculations before saying hello while also not shy to brag about how smart he is and how he is the smartest man in the room. With Andrew Garfield it is the same territory he is always playing the more emotional character one bringing conflict inner turmoil instead of confidence to the roles much like his portrayal of Peter Parker/Spider man in The Amazing Spider Man movies. Both actors great at their respective themes and role characteristics as their performances in this film show why they were chosen to play the characters that they have played later in their careers. At the end of the day the movie known as The Social Network while run of the mill in its storytelling brought up good historical points in the origin of Facebook and made for an enjoyable addition to its theme of movies that tell the origins of pop culture phenomena. Especially at the end leaving the message that while it is called a social network it is no excuse to not communicate and be social to the friends you see in real life. As the more you post the less you actually live.

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
